Support Widows are quadrepedal mechanical NPCs with a periscoping head piece. They are occasionally found as mini-bosses in High Security PvE missions.

Overview Edit

Widows are armed with a moderately powerful Auto Cannon and a melee attack.

Unlike Hunter Spiders, its auto cannon fires continuously instead of firing in bursts.

They are also capable of pulling in a target with a red tractor beam, forcing the target into near-melee range. The pull of the beam can be fought by using the Jetpack, plain jumping will also occasionally cause the beam to disengage.

Support Widows are capable of jumping very far to get to melee range.

The model of the Support Widow is used for Recursive Hunter Spiders, which appear during defense raids.
