Rocket Turret

The Rocket Turret is the third of four turrets available to Robotics agents.

Overview[]

The Rocket Turret has the longest range of turrets to off-set a narrow firing arc (90o).

Its rockets deal area-of-effect damage on impact. The turret fires much slower than others, limiting its damage-per-second potential significantly. However as it has a huge base damage, buffing the turret with a repair arm and/or a deployable sensor can be extremely effective, sometimes attaining 3000+ damage per shot.

combined with the AoE damage on multiple targets, a Rocket turret can achieve one of the best DPS of all turrets on certain situations (large group of enemies, shooting on the point in PvP...) Note that the rockets are able to damage the turret's owner (as it's treated as self-damage) - be careful when standing in the turret's firing arc! The rockets can also explode on contact with other friendly targets, but will not inflict damage to them.

The basic Rocket Turret is availabe for purchase at Dome City's Robotics Gear vendor at level 19. A specific epic varient (ddr) is available for 6000 Tokens. Uncommon, rare, and other epic varients are occasionally awarded upon successful completion of PvE and PvP missions.

Some experienced Robotics found out how to switch targets by standing infront of the Target Laser and quickly move agian. As the Rocket Turret its the most dangerous to try with. It only has 90o firing arc but when he founds his target it can hit you.

Tips[]

  • Rocket Turrets can be used for offense and defense, placing them near control or choke points to maximize its usefulness.
  • Always remember to buff its damage with your repair arm, and a sensor if possible.
  • Place these turrets near or on top of enviromental protections such rocks or boxes, so you can cover behind while still being able to repair/buff your turret.
