The Euthanizer is the default Ranged Weapon for Medic agents. It is a modest rifle that allows the Medic to add to their teammates' firepower while they aren't in need of healing.

Its DPS is higher than The Agonizer's one and it also consumes less power per shot, but more power in the same firing time.

Being a rapid fire weapon allows the Euthanizer to damage several enemies at a time providing inportant support fire for your team.

However, the Agonizer is sometimes a better idea for healing medics, simply because it can keep Recons and Elite Assassins out of stealth for a long time as well as providing a very useful protection debuff for your teammates, the debuff can also render some low health NPCs unable to perform any actions until the poison wears off, and it also allows the Medic to continue healing while the Poison damage takes effect.

A specific epic varient of the Euthanizer is available for purchase at level 30 from Dome City's Medic Gear vendor for 6000 Mercenary Tokens. Uncommon, rare, and other epic varients are occasionally awarded upon successful completion of PvE and PvP missions.
