OverviewEdit

The Ballista is one of 3 sniper rifles available to the Recon. It inflicts a Protection debuff on targets, causing them to take 10% additional damage for its 5 second duration. Sniper rounds in Global Agenda are not hitscan, meaning they do not travel instantly. They are projectiles with travel time, though at close to mid range they are so fast that they are nearly instantaneous. An Epic Overclocked version is available from a vendor in Dome City for 30000 tokens.

Binds When Acquired.

The Ballista rifle excels at Team PvE due to its protection debuff that cause anyone on your team (Yourself included) to do additional damage to the target. It is also somewhat useful in PvP again due to its protection debuff which makes it the prefered rifle to use for sniping turrets or other mechanicals.

For general PvP the Scorpia Sniperrifle is prefered by most however for being better against players. Due to a healing debuff.
