The AfterShock Launcher specializes in destroying Mechanical targets, particularily Turrets and other stationary deployables. Primary fire launches grenades much like the other grenade launchers, however AfterShock grenades stick to surfaces rather than bounce and roll. Pressing Alternate Fire detonates all grenades. The AfterShock also deals additional damage to Mechanical targets.
The Aftershock Launcher can place a maximum of 6 grenades. Take note that the bombs can stick to turrets, making them somewhat more difficult for a Robotics agent to remove.
Note that grenades, once stuck to a surface, can be destroyed by enemy fire. They are no longer vulnerable to AOE damage.
Be extremely careful in how you use your offhands while wielding this launcher, as the Aftershock bombs can just as easily kill you.
A specific epic varient of the AfterShock Launcher is available for purchase at level 30 from Dome City's Assault Gear vendor for 6000 Tokens. There is also an additional Overclocked version with all damage mods and a 3% higher base damage available for 30,000 Tokens. Uncommon, rare, and other epic varients are occasionally awarded upon successful completion of PvE and PvP missions.
